My primary skills are in mechanical design, industrial design, and fluid dynamics. My time living on boats, working on cars, and growing up in a town that slowly lost its character to the thoughtless progression of the built world has taught me an appreciation for how the things we make can both add to and take away joy. I want to become a mechanical engineer because I want to bring joy and mobility to more people than I could ever personally interact with.
